Every time we come to your property to protect you from ongoing pests, we put this layer of human/pet safe pesticides down around your home that protects against seasonal pests. This barrier is typically enough for most pests that may enter your property.
But, on occasion, it isn’t.
If you have a specific pest invasion, for example – say, spiders or cockroaches – let us know. Sometimes we don’t know what you’re seeing, and knowing what’s invading your property can help us determine the best treatment.
What We Can Do Differently
Most pesticides protect the same way against all pests. For example, a traditional spring layer provides protection from spiders, cockroaches, ants, centipedes, beetles, earwigs, and much more. But if you are having a specific problem, there are a lot of things we can do:
- Higher Concentration – Some pests respond better to a higher concentration of pesticides in areas that may be entrance points to them.
- Different Formulation – We apply a more generic formulation at the time of service, but there are other formulations that provide better protection from spiders, cockroaches, etc.
- Different Placement – Say, for example, you’re having a problem with ants. We can place the pesticide in additional locations to see if that helps, or scour the yard for an ant-specific treatment that may be more beneficial.
There are absolutely pesticides and treatment options that are “better” for some pests than others, and so if you let us know that you’re having a specific problem, our team will make sure to address it accordingly with the right formulas for you.
More Than Pest Control with Fillmore Pest
It should also be noted that there is so much more to pest control than just pesticides. If you’re having an issue with pests, we can also look at a process known as “exclusion,” which is designed specifically to help keep pests out without pesticides, such as sealing holes around your property. If you need an interior treatment, we can provide that as well. Our goal is to make sure your property is pest free using any means necessary.
But make sure you let us know! Don’t be shy! Our pest treatment is designed to prevent pests, but homes (and bugs) are complicated, and there are issues that can arise at any time! If you have a problem with pests, give us a call, and we’ll be there with solutions.
